Return To The Almighty. The Significance of 40 Days Fast, Repentance, Giving, Fervent Prayers and Decrees. The month of August/September, the Hebrew month of Elul is important for this chosen fast, repentance and returning to God. This time of the year is important to God ‘s prophetic cycles of blessing: It is time to pursue God and renew our commitment to Him. Rosh Hashana, the birth pangs of the Messiah is in this season of 40 days. Day of Atonement is the day judgments are sealed. These 40 days preparation positions you for deliverance, healing and freedom from the consequences of wrong choices, genetically transferred diseases, past traumas etc. This is the season when God can be found. He wants us to return to Him. This is the season that God is available to all that will diligently seek Him.
